Stefan Köllner

Stefan Köllner ( born September 11, 1984 in Potsdam ) is a German Modern pentathlete.

Stefan is Köllner Sports soldier and student of sports science. He starts for the OSC Potsdam. As a junior he won in 2004 with the team the bronze medal at the World Championships, in 2005 he was German junior champion. In the men's range, it is successfully since 2009. At the World Championships the year in London, he retired from the singles and was still with the team 13 Far better it ran a year later. At the European Championships he won with Delf Borrmann and Steffen Gebhardt in the German team the gold medal in the individual he was behind David Svoboda and Samuel Waele third parties. In the relay race he came on the eighth. At the World Championships in Chengdu ranks eight followed in singles, 12 in the team and 13 in the season. In addition Köllner was German champion in 2010. Not as successful as last year ran the European Championships 2011 in Medway. He finished eleventh of Single Page and aft with the squadron in Germany. Successful ran the World Championships 2012 in Rome, where Köllner with Borrmann and Alexander Nobis behind the Season of South Korea won the silver medal. Another medal he just missed out in fourth place of the function SINGLE and fifth with the team. By the fourth, he qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where he finished in 26th place.
