Stefan Schaub

Stefan Schaub (* April 27 1952 in Oberkirch ) is a German music teacher.

Life

Schaub studied educational sciences, musicology and psychology ( diploma 1979) and his PhD in 1982 in music education with Professor Sigrid Abel - Struth in Frankfurt am Main.

From 1980 to 1984 he was a research assistant at the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Frankfurt; 1975-1981 he was a member of the board of the German Society for Music Therapy ( DGMT eV).

In 1983 he founded the " seminars for Classical Music " as an institution of musical adult education. The seminars are aimed at music interested amateurs, and include the representation of music history personalities and ages and are dedicated to the observation and analysis of musical masterpieces.
