Stefan Tewes

Stefan Tewes (* November 24, 1967 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German former hockey player and Olympic champion.

Stefan Tewes began his career at Uhlenhorst Mülheim and has been with this team in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1990 German champion, won the 1987 Mülheim addition the indoor championship. From 1988 to 1990 Tewes won with Mülheim three times in a row, the European Champion Clubs' Cup. In 1990, Tewes to Munich and joined Rot-Weiß München, with this club, he finished 1991 ranked second in the German Hockey Championship.

The defender was 1985 World Junior Champion and 1988 European junior champion. In 1989, he debuted in the German national hockey team, with the field in the European Hockey Championships he won the title in 1991.
