Stefano Tamburini

Stefano Tamburini ( born August 18, 1955 in Rome, † April 1986 ) was an Italian comic book author and signatory.

His first drawings published Tamborini in 1974 in the underground magazine Combinazioni. A year later he was part of the Stampa Alternativa and was involved in several of their publications. In 1977 Tamborini published in the first issue of the journal Cannibale and belonged in their attitude to the founders of the monthly magazine founded in 1980 Frigidaire. At the beginning of the 1980s Tamburini created the character of Ranxerox that made him along with Tanino Liberatore known beyond Italy. In April 1986 Tamburini was found dead in his apartment in Rome.
