Stein Henrik Tuff

Henrik Tuff Stone ( born August 16, 1974 in Trondheim ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper.

Tuff, who started for Selsbakk IF, his international career began in 1992 in the newly created ski jumping Continental Cup (COC ). In his first season he reached the 27th place in the COC overall standings with 31 points. In the following season 1993/94 he could jump with 304 points 15th place overall. Due to this success was tuff on January 15, 1994 his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. When jumping in Liberec he reached the 44th place. He then was part of the squad for the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. There, the then 19 -year-old tuff could jump on the 43rd place on the large hill. In his first World Cup after the Games in Thunder Bay, he could reach the 3rd place together with Lasse Ottesen, Øyvind Berg and Espen Bredesen in the team competition and was so for the first time in his career in a World Cup jumping on the podium.

In the Norwegian Championships in 1996 in Meldal Tuff won Espen Bredesen behind the silver medal on the large hill. Shortly afterwards, he finished the Continental Cup 1995/96 season with 878 points for the 1st place in the overall standings. It was his greatest success in this series. Then he was able to achieve greater success neither in the Continental on the World Cup. His highest ranking he reached the 10th place in his penultimate World Cup competition on 28 February 1996 in Kuopio. After two more years in the Continental Cup, he finished in 1998 his active ski jumping career.
