Steinbrücken Cave

The black moss Kogel cave system located in the Dead Mountains. It was measured at a length of about 97 km (as of 2012), making it the third longest cave in Austria.

1938 has begun to explore the Schwarzmoos Kogel- ice cave. Greater progress in the exploration of the cave has been made in the eighties. For more caves were discovered and partially interconnected. The SMK- system is composed of 9 individual caves.
