Stellwag's sign
The Stellwag character is a typical symptom of Graves' ophthalmopathy. It refers to the thereby occurring pathologically decreased eye blink. In clinical practice, this is measured in blinks / minute. Was named the character after the Austrian ophthalmologist Karl Stellwag von Carion ( 1823-1904 ).
Other clinical signs of endocrine Orbithopathie are the Graefe sign, which Dalrymple sign, the stove character and the Möbius characters.
