Stelvio Mestrovich

Stelvio Mestrovich ( born June 20, 1948 in Zadar) is a writer, musicologist, poet and literary critic.

Life

Mestrovich, was born as a son of Italian parents in Zadar, Yugoslavia. Mestrovich is a music critic of the late Baroque period, with particular knowledge of Antonio Salieri, Andrea Luchese, Anton Diabelli, Pietro Alessandro Guglielmi, Baldassare Galuppi. It is also thanks to him that the foyer of the theater " Giuseppe Verdi" of Trieste, the conductor and composer Victor De Sabata is dedicated today. Thanks to his perseverance Göttweihergasse No. 1, a plaque on the facade of the house was in 2000 in Vienna, mounted in the Salieri has lived for 30 years.

The works of Mestrovich have been translated into various languages. The writer is represented in Italian, Austrian, German, Spanish, Albanian and Bulgarian anthologies. In the Vienna magazine " LOG" under the patronage of UNESCO lyrical works of Mestrovich were printed in German translation.
