Stemme S6
The Stemme S6 is a Motorglider of Stemme. It resembles the Stemme S10, but has a non-retractable adjustable 3 -blade propeller and depending on the version a fixed or retractable tricycle landing gear with steerable nose. The first flight took place after a prolonged development time on November 29, 2006, with the designers attached great value to a low noise level and low vibration. It is in the variants S6 -T ( fixed gear ) and S6 -RT ( retractable ) are offered.
The first had S6 -T ( D- KTSA ) on 29 November 2006 at 12:01 local time clock made its first flight at the airfield Strausberg. Test pilot Lothar Dalldorff.
On 22 October 2008, the S6 by EASA received type certification.
