Stéphane Brosse

Stéphane Brosse ( born October 20, 1971 in Le Pont -de- Beauvoisin, Savoie, † June 17, 2012 on the Aiguille d' Argentière ) was a French ski mountaineer and multiple title winner in this sport.

Career

With the ski mountaineering, he began in 1990 and, in 1995, at the Miage Contamines Somfy first time at a tournament. Since 1996 he was a member of the French national ski mountaineering. In 2006, he was with the Patrouille des Glaciers on the winning team, duly drawn up by the track record. Together with Pierre Gignoux, who is also a member of the French national ski mountaineering, he held since 30 May 2003 record for the ascent including downhill at Mont Blanc with a total time of 5h 15 ' 47 ", of which around 4 hours and 7 minutes the rise and 1 hour and 7 minutes for the subsequent downhill run. He lived in Annecy. On June 17, 2012, he was killed while crossing the Aiguille d' Argentière, as a snow cornice collapsed under him and he fell 700 feet in depth.

Except he went ski mountaineering mountain climbing, went alpine skiing, sailing and went mountain biking.
