Stephanie of Milly#Namesake first cousin

Stephanie of Milly ( † around 1197 ) was a nobleman in the county of Tripoli. She was married to the men of Botron and Gibelet.

Parents

Her father was Henry of Milly, Lord (warden? ) Of Arabia Petra, brother of Philip of Milly. Her mother was Agnes Garnier, daughter of Eustace II Garnier, Count of Sidon.

Marriage and issue

In her first marriage she was married to William Dorel, Lord of Botron. With him she had a daughter, Cecilia ( Lucie ). This was a Flemish knight Gérard de Ridefort promised in marriage, but eventually married the wealthy Pisan merchant's son Plebanus. Gerard de Ridefort appeared disappointed with the Knights Templar, where he rose to Grand Master later.

In his second marriage, she married in 1179 to Hugh III. Embriaco, Lord of Gibelet, who died in 1196.
