Stephen Mennell

Stephen Mennell ( born May 1, 1944) is a British sociologist. He is Professor Emeritus at University College Dublin. Mennells work is heavily influenced by Norbert Elias.

Mennell studied economics at Cambridge University (BA, 1966 and MA, 1970). He earned his doctorate at the University of Amsterdam.
