Steve Buscemi
Steven Vincent Buscemi (preferred pronunciation of the actor himself bʉsɛmi, Italian bʊʃɛmi; born December 13, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American film and stage actor and director. With its distinctive physiognomy and facial expressions it is preferably cast as a performer for neurotic and paranoid characters and losers. Life
After the completion of Valley Stream High School in Brooklyn, Steve Buscemi worked as a furniture mover, ice cream vendors and fireman. Buscemi is twice winner of the Independent Spirit Awards for his roles in Reservoir Dogs and Ghost World. For the latter he was nominated in 2002 for a Golden Globe Award. For his supporting role in John Rabe was nominated for the German Film Prize in 2009.
As a star of the television series Boardwalk Empire, he received a 2011 Golden Globe and 2011 and 2012 Screen Actors Guild Award; 2011 and 2012 he was nominated for an Emmy for each award.
