Stig-Göran Myntti

Stig- Göran Mikael Myntti ( born August 6 1925) is a former Finnish football and Bandyspieler.

Myntti played for the West Finnish club IFK Vasa with which he 1944, 1946 and 1953, won the national championship. In the Finnish national team, he came from 1945 to 1958 for 61 countries play insertion and 5 goals. Among others, he belonged to the levy of the Finnish Olympic team in 1952 at the Olympic Games in Finland. His first two international goals he scored on 7 September 1947 in Helsinki in an international match against Norway ( 3-3 ). He scored the other goals against the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. In the Finnish Erstligasaison 1948 Myntti was top scorer with 15 goals.

In Bandy 1957 he was with the Finnish national team in the first Bandy World Championship in Finland runner-up. Overall Myntti denied 12 matches in which he scored four goals.

He is the father of Kenth Myntti and grandfather of Henri Myntti, both were members of the football players are also respectively.
