Stochastic geometry

The Stochastic Geometry is concerned with the mathematical description and analysis of random geometric structures, such as points or line segments or more complex quantities in space or the plane.

An important application is in the production of stereospecific logical statements of spatial structures by means of statistical analysis of linear and planar sections.
