Stoglav

The Stoglaw (Russian: one hundred chapters ) is a Russian moral code of the time of Ivan IV ( 1530-1584 ), composed of Metropolitan Macarius of Moscow ( 1482-1563 ) was compiled. He gave answers to the questions that the Tsar had 1551 addressed to the Council and should be countered by education in the church organizations to superstition and " heretical " movements and save the ancient Russian traditions and virtues.
