Occurrence and habitat
The distribution area of the cranesbill Reads ranges from India to Indonesia and the Philippines.
Its habitat is both forested shores of inland waters and the sea.

Food
The food of cranesbill Reads is varied: smaller fish, crustaceans, amphibians, small reptiles, young birds, insects.
