Strmilov
Strmilov ( German Tremles ) is a town of 1,429 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec and is located 15 km east of Jindřichův Hradec in 545 m asl on the border between Bohemia and Moravia. Through the town flows the Hamerský creek.
History
The first mention of the town dates from 1255.
On 10 October 2006 Strmilov was charged erroneously for Městys. On October 17, this decision was revised and Strmilov appointed with effect from October 10 to the city.

The town includes the villages Strmilov Česká Olešná ( Bohemian Woleschna ) Leština ( Leschtin ), Maly Jenikov ( Kleinjenikau ) and Palupín ( Palupin ).
