Stuart Appleby

Stuart Appleby ( born May 1, 1971 in Cohuna, Victoria, Australia) is one of the best Australian professional golfer.

Career

The son of a dairy farmer from the northern, rural part of the Australian province of Victoria suggested as a child his golf balls on the abundant pastures. In 1992 he became professional golfers and began his career on the Australasian Tour. 1995 Appleby won twice on the North American Nike Tour, the forerunner of the Nationwide Tour, and thus qualified for the PGA TOUR. He started and finished by the first year already # 5 on the money list.

On 1 August 2010 Appleby scored at the Greenbrier Classic on his final lap a score of 59 strokes and won the tournament. He was thus only the fifth player to whom this record result achieved on the PGA Tour.

Stuart Appleby won so far nine tournament victories on the PGA TOUR, was a member of the International Team in the Presidents Cup in all encounters since 1998 and is consistently in the top 50 in the world rankings.

1998 His first wife, Renay came in a tragic road accident in London died shortly after Appleby was excreted in the Open Championship. In 2003 he married his native of Ohio Girlfriend Ashley Saleet. She gave birth to a girl in January 2005. The family has resided in Orlando, Florida.
