Stuart Pankin
Stuart Pankin ( born April 8, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actor and voice actor.
Life
Pankin first attended the private Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After that, he studied theater at Columbia University and graduated in 1971 with a Master of Fine Arts from. Already during his studies he was doing theater and 1968 had its off-Broadway debut. Following his studies, he first played on theater, among other things, he joined the New York Shakespeare Festival in Cymbeline, Timon of Athens, Richard III. on. He had in 1972 in Mary Stuart made his Broadway debut.
Mid-1970s, began his career in film and television. After a few minor roles, he received in 1977 a series of starring roles in the short-lived, produced by Aaron Spelling sitcom California Okay. In 1981, he starred with Chuck Norris, Christopher Lee and Richard Roundtree in the action film The Iron Giant. He had a bigger role in a blockbuster 1987, when he alongside Michael Douglas and Glenn Close played the role of Jimmy. Early to mid -1990s, he starred in supporting roles in several Hollywood productions such as Arachnophobia, Life stinks, Congo and striptease. In the final season of the series Falcon Crest, he had the recurring guest role of Jace Sampson. He was awarded five Oscars 2011 silent film The Artist A small supporting role.
In addition Pankin entered since the 1970s regularly as a guest star in several television series such as Boomer, the strays, Golden Girls, Walker, Texas Ranger, Boston Legal and Desperate Housewives. As a voice actor he was to hear the Dinos as a family father Earl Sinclair in the U.S. original version of Jim Henson's between 1991 and 1994. He also spoke to various animated series such as Batman, Superman, Aladdin, and Lilo & Stitch. The U.S. television audience, he is also known as anchorman Bob Charles in the HBO News Satire Not Necessarily the News, and by his numerous appearances as a celebrity guest in game shows such as the U.S. original version of The Pyramid.
Pankin has been married since 1974, from the marriage went forth a son.
