Suaeda nigra

The Suaedoideae are a subfamily of the family of Amaranthaceae ( Amaranthaceae ). Previously they were made ​​the goosefoot family ( Chenopodiaceae ).

Description

The leaves of the Suaedoideae always have a trained leaf area. The blade cross-section there is a central and many lateral vascular bundles ( except Bienertia ). At the base of the leaves not run down the stem nor are they amplexicaul. The inflorescences are axillary cymes. The flowers are free in the axils of the bracts, bracteoles also are available. Dissemination

Among the Suaedoideae there are about equal numbers of C3 plants such as C4 plants.
