Subashi (lost city)

Subashi ( SUBASI ) is a sunken city in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in China. It is located in the Taklamakan desert to the ancient Silk Road near the city of Kucha.

The city has been excavated to parts of the Japanese archaeologists Count Otani.

Buddhist Monastery

The site of the Buddhist Vihara at Subashi (苏巴什 佛寺 遗址, Subashi Fosi Yizhi ) is since 1996 on the monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 4-45 ).
