Subscapular nerves

The ulnar subscapularis ( " sub- scapular nerve" ) is a nerve of the brachial plexus. It has its roots in the human spinal cord between the 5th and 7th cervical segment (C5 - C7) in domestic animals in the C6 - C8. In domestic animals it is usually split into several branches ( Nervi subscapular ).

The subscapularis nerve provides motor innervation to the subscapularis muscle in humans partly also the teres major.
