Subutai

Subutai ( Subetei, Subetai, Subotai, Mongolian Сүбээдэй, Sübeedei; Classical Mongolian: Sübügätäi or Sübü'ätäi; * 1176, † 1248 ) is regarded as the ablest general of Genghis Khan ( Temüjin ) and Ögedei Khan. He was responsible for more than 20 largely successful campaigns in Asia and Eastern Europe.
