Sućuraj

Sućuraj (Italian San Giorgio) is a traditional Dalmatian fishing village in Croatia. The municipality has 463 inhabitants, while the town of Sućuraj 357 inhabitants ( 2011 census ). The village is situated on the eastern tip of the island of Hvar, close to the mainland.

With its beaches where you can swim from May to November, Sućuraj is a destination of tourism. The climate is dry and dominated by the summer winds Mistral and Tramontana.
