The Sudirman Mountains, also Sudirman Range, is a mountain range in the Indonesian part of the island of New Guinea ( West Papua ) and forms the western part of the Maokegebirges. In this massif is also the highest mountain in Oceania, the Carstensz pyramid with 4884 m. For the indigenous people called the mountain also Dugunduguoo. Parts of the population are Dugunduguoo as sacred.
