Sue Lloyd

Sue Lloyd (actually: Susan Margery Jeaffreson Lloyd born August 7, 1939 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, England; † October 20, 2011 in London) was a British actress.

Life

Sue Lloyd took in her childhood ballet lessons at the Sadler 's Wells Ballet School. In 1963, she made ​​her acting debut in the television series The Sentimental Agent, a production by ITV Entertainment. ITV then set them in their other series, and in 1966 she was awarded with Steve Forrest the female lead role in the series The Baron. The series was indeed canceled after one season, but they continued to receive guest-starred on ITV productions. In addition, they had in 1965 alongside Michael Caine the female lead role of Jean Courtney in the spy film Ipcress - Top secret after the eponymous novel by Len Deighton. However, a feature film career did not succeed.

Larger notoriety in her homeland she gained for her role as Barbara Hunter in the soap opera Crossroads, she played between 1975 and 1985. In 1991 she married Ronald Allen, who had represented her husband in the series. Only a few months later he died of cancer.

Sue Lloyd was also known by the name of Sue Lloyd Allen and Susan Lloyd. She died at the age of 72 years on 20 October 2011.
