Suhas Gopinath
Suhas Gopinath (* November 4, 1986 in Bangalore, India) is an Indian young entrepreneur, President of Globals Inc, an IT company he founded in 2000.
Life
Suhas Gopinath was born in Bangalore, the son of an Indian scientist. In 1998 he presented his first twelve years of site on the Internet: www.coolhindustan.com. It was as an Internet forum for Indians in all over the world fast popular and soon the target of Pakistani "black hat " hackers who changed the page in the "Cool Pakistan " logo. That's why he gave this project again. In 2000, the American company Network Solutions invited the 14 -year-olds in their corporate headquarters in San Jose and Silicon Valley to offer a job and an education in the USA it. He refused and decided to become entrepreneurs themselves. However, since this requires a minimum age of 18 years under Indian law, he founded the company together with friends online in the U.S. and chose as headquarters San Jose, California.
Today he is considered the world's youngest CEO. The average age of his now more than 400 employees is 21 years, his oldest employee is 26 in 2003 to his company Globals Inc., a job singing Inc, a BPO company from Singapore, have therefore not received because the company director with 17 years was too young to sign the required preliminary contract ( memorandum of understanding ).
In 2007, Globals Inc claims to be supervised more than 200 customers and had offices in eleven countries. About 65 percent of its sales, the company in Europe.
On 2 December 2007 the European Parliament and the International Association for Human Values in Brussels also awarded the "Young Achiever Award" to Suhas Gopinath. He was allowed to make a speech to the Parliament and businessmen assembled there. In January 2009, Suhas was at the World Economic Forum in Davos honored as " Young Global Leader" - alongside other celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, the Prince of Brunei and the American vice presidential candidate and governor of the U.S. state of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal.
