Suhum, Ghana

Suhum is a place in the Eastern Region in the West African nation of Ghana. At the last census of the country on 26 March 2000, there were 31 044 inhabitants in the city. Extrapolations from 1 January 2007 estimate the population to 36,650 inhabitants. Even in the census of the year 1984 19.298 inhabitants were listed. Even in 1970 the population was a mere 12,421 inhabitants.

Currently, the city is on the 40th position in the list of the largest cities in Ghana.
