Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 1 (Shostakovich)

The Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 1, (without Op. ) (Also known as the Jazz Suite No. 1) is a composition by Dmitri Shostakovich.

The work Shostakovich in 1934, after he agreed to participate in the Jazz Commission of the Soviet Union, whose aim it was to lift the " Soviet jazz " to a professional level.
