Sujata Massey
Sujata Massey, born Banerjee (born 1964 Sussex, England) is an American crime writer. At the age of five, she emigrated with her parents - her father is from India and her mother from Germany - from England. From 1991 to 1993 she lived in Japan. She currently lives in Baltimore ..
In 1997, she published the first part of a series of detective novels. These revolve around Rei Shimura, a half-Japanese from California, and play mostly in Japan.
The first novel, The Salaryman 's Wife ( The German dead in the bath house ) was honored in 1997 with the Agatha Award for " Best First Mystery Novel ", and The Flower Master ( bitter almond blossoms ) in 2000 with the Macavity Award.
On your official website Sujata Massey has announced that the book "Burning Hibiscus" ( " Shimura Trouble" ) the last publication of the Rei Shimura series is. She now wants to write a historical novel about ancient India.
