Suki Desu Suzuki-kun!!

Love you, Suzuki -kun! (Japanese好き です 鈴木 くん!, Suki Desu Suzuki -kun! ) is a manga series of the Japanese illustrator Gō Ikeyamada. The series with over 2000 pages was adapted as an original video animation, light novel and console game.

Content

The two boys Hikaru Suzuki and Suzuki Shinobu, who are not related despite having the same name, and the girls Sayaka Hoshino and Chihiro Itō go together in the first grade of middle school. Chihiro and Hikaru sports have long been friends and Chihiro is secretly in love with him. But Hikaru and Sayaka shy fall in love, while the rich and arrogant Shinobu fell in love with Chihiro.

After two years, the four are separated, they see only in the second year of high school at 17 years.

Publication

The manga was published comic of the publisher Shogakukan in Japan from October 2008 to June 2012 in the shōjo manga magazine. The individual chapters also appeared in 18 anthologies. The volumes of the series sold in Japan initially each about 80,000 times, the later volumes over 110,000 times.

Egmont Manga and Anime published a German translation from April 2011 to March 2014 in 18 volumes.

Adaptations

On 18 December 2009 was published, as a supplement of Shōjo Comic, a DVD with an original video animation based on the manga. A second series followed on 26 July 2010 in a fanbook.

A written Yui Tokiumi light novel was released in December 2009 under the title Suki Desu Suzuki -kun! - Pure White Love (好き です 鈴木 くん- !ピュア·ホワイト·ラブ). In addition, on 29 July 2010 a game was released for the series entitled Suki Desu Suzuki -kun! - 4- nin no Suzuki -kun (好き です 鈴木 くん~ 4人 の 鈴木 くん~! ) For Nintendo DS. It was produced by Idea Factory.
