Sukkah (Talmud)

Sukkah / סוכה is a treatise of the Mishnah in order Mo'ed ( hard times, feast day ).

The Tractate Sukkah deals broadly with Halachot that, in connection with the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot. The first chapter deals with the construction of a tabernacle. Here, in particular questions about the site, to clarify the dimensions and usable building materials. Chapter II expands the circle of questions relating to the time of the Feast of Tabernacles to be performed activities. In the third chapter is the nature of the solid bouquet consisting of lulav, myrtle ( Hadas ), Willow Branch ( Arawa ) and Etrog discussed, as well as to reciting blessings and praises. This is followed by the final chapter IV and V, in which the customs of the Feast of Tabernacles will be described at the time of the Second Temple.

The treatise is in 6th place in the order Moed ( מועד ). To sukkah exists a tract of Tosefta, just a Gemara in both Talmuds.
