Sula, Møre og Romsdal

Sula? / I is a municipality in the Norwegian province (county ) Møre og Romsdal. Sula is an island, it is surrounded by Breisundet in the west, and Storfjorden Vartdalsfjorden in the south and Hessafjorden and Borgundfjorden in the north. In the east it is bounded by the narrow Vegsundet, this waterway is a bridge. Rocks and heather dominate the landscape, the forest growth is sparse. The highest elevation is 776 meters. The neighboring municipalities are separated through the sea of Sula: Hareid in the West, Ørsta in the south, Giske in the northwest and Ålesund in the north and east.

Districts

Administrative center is Langevåg. Other settlements are Solevåg, Fiskarstrand, Veibust and Mauseidvåg.
