11:48

Sulpicius Gallus is an impact crater on the Moon's front page. It lies in the plane of the Mare Serenitatis at the foot of the Montes Haemus. Located northwest of the crater Sulpicius Gallus run the Rimae parallel to the Montes Haemus and southeast the Dorsa Sorby in the same direction. Also parallel to the Montes Haemus extends further toward the interior of the Mare Serenitatis the ridge of the Dorsum Buckland.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Roman general Gaius Sulpicius Galus and astronomers.
