Sultan Kösen

Sultan Kösen ( born December 10, 1982 in Mardin, Turkey) was dubbed by Guinness World Records as the largest living man. On 8 February 2011 he was admitted with his 251.0 cm body length in the Guinness Book of Records. Sultan Kösen also holds the record for the largest hands of a living person. His hands are 27.5 cm long from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger. He wears shoe size 62, which corresponds to a length of 44.5 cm. He overtook the former record holder Bao Xishun, which measures 2.37 m.

Sultan Kösen was born near Mardin in Turkey. Its growth step up to the age of ten years ahead as normal. Then doctors discovered a tumor behind his eye and diagnosed gigantism.
