Sole Valley on the Wine Route is a municipality with 126 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in Leibnitz district in the Austrian state of Styria. On January 1, 2015, is joined in the Styrian municipality structural reform with the community Gamlitz, the new community will bear the name Gamlitz.

Geography

Sole Valley on the Wine Route is located near the Slovenian border in southern Styria to 429-505 m.

Community structure

Sulztal consists of the cadastral (area 2001): Sulz 97.26 ha and 130.95 ha Sulztal or from the single locality Val di Sole.

History

The local church as an autonomous body created in 1850. Much of the community were slammed by the boundaries after the First World War, the new state of Yugoslavia. After the annexation of Austria in 1938, the community came to Reichsgau Styria, 1945-1955, she was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 May 1998. Coat Description: " A silver shaft pile in the red shield from the side edges each a silver vine falls, each with three leaves and two grapes.

Economy and infrastructure

Sole Valley is a rural wine-growing community, so there are several taverns and tourist accommodation.

Sulztaler children have to commute to elementary school in the neighboring community ratchet on the wine route or to the main school to Gamlitz.
