Sumol Compal
The Sumol Compal S. A. is a Portuguese drinks company with four locations in Portugal. The joint stock company has a share capital of 100 092 500 euros. The shares are traded on the Euro Next Stock Exchange. His headquarters, the company has Carnaxide in Lisbon.
History
The Sumol Compal formed by the merger of the two companies Sumolis and Compal in 2009. Sumolis existed since 1945, Compal since 1952.
In May 2010, Sumol Compal announced the sale of the brand Sucol and the formula of ingredients Sumol Nectar, Sumol Neclight and Sumol 100 % sumo. The sale was arranged by the Autoridade because Concorrência ( Portuguese Competition Authority). On April 23, 2012 it was announced that the Tagus brand was sold to the group DAM for 2.6 million euros. Sumol Compal will take care of the distribution of the Group's brands DAMM five years.
Locations
The office is located in Carnaxide. Production facilities are located in Almeirim, Pombal, Gouveia and Sampaio. Distribution centers are located in Póvoa de Varzim, Carnaxide and Faro. The company operates warehouses in ovary, Viseu, Seixal, Évora and Portimão.
