Sunday in New York is an American feature film from the year 1963. It is based on the eponymous comedy by Norman Krasna, who also wrote the screenplay.

Action

Adam Tyler is an American captain who has a weekend off and would like to take this a romantic get-together with his girlfriend Mona in his New York apartment. The weekend is abruptly interrupted when Adams little sister Eileen visited him surprising. She has quarrel with her fiance Russ Wilson, because they do not want to sleep with him before marriage. Adam appeased and says that they have exactly the right attitude.

Adam has his next flight on Sunday and wants Mona nachfliegt him. However, the flight schedules are subject to change for him and Mona is now alone in a strange city. Meanwhile, Eileen meets on a bus to journalists Mike Mitchell. The two fall in love and end up in Adam's apartment. There also Russ Wilson appears to ask Eileen forgiveness. However, he sees Mike Eileen's brother. When Adam comes back surprisingly, he is Russ presented as his own co-pilot. Adam plays with the masquerade. During the evening, however, the truth comes to light. Mike and Eileen confess their love and Russ one sees that his relationship with Eileen has no future. Adam decides finally to marry Mona, as the spontaneous meetings bring to any places of the world, only confusion.
