Sunwing Airlines

Sunwing Airlines is a Canadian charter airline based in Toronto, a subsidiary of Sunwings Vacations.

History

The tour operator Sunwing Vacation started operations with its own charter company Sunwing Airlines in November 2005 and initially offered flights from Canada to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, the Caribbean and domestic destinations.

In March 2013, the setting of seasonal flights to Europe, including Rome and Barcelona, was announced.

Destinations

Most destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean are served by Toronto Pearson, Montreal- Trudeau and Ottawa. But by many other Canadian airports Sunwing flies to these destinations. In the United States, Las Vegas and several destinations in Florida are served. National exists the route Vancouver - Toronto and there are several airports in Newfoundland connected to Toronto.

As of November 2013, the fleet of Sunwing Airlines consists of 21 aircraft:
