Sunyer II, Count of Empúries

Sunyer II (c. 840, † 915 ) had been 862 Count of Empúries and Count of Roussillon. He was a son of Sunyer I, Count of Empúries.

Together with his brother he took over the Delaware County Empúries after they rose up against Humphrey, the margrave of Gothia ( Septimania ). 896 died his cousin Miró and the Elder took over the county Roussillon.
