Superleadership

Leadership through self-leadership is a psychological guide approach, which was coined by the U.S. leadership researchers Charles Manz and Henry Sims. Main characteristics of leadership through self- management are the widespread dissemination of leadership, power and responsibility in an organization and the Support of Initiative and autonomy of employees.

Term development

In the English original literature control is referred to by self-leadership as a super leadership. The psychologist Günter F. Müller coined as a German translation of the term leadership through self- management.
