Susan Orlean

Susan Orlean ( born October 31, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American journalist and author. Among other things, she writes for the New Yorker magazine.

Orleans most famous work is The Orchid Thief ( The Orchid Thief ), the. Basis for the screenplay by Spike Jonze's feature film adaptation forms. The film's script was written in 2002 by Charlie Kaufman, who is a figure like Orlean in the film also.

Even on a 1998 written by her article about young surfers from Maui, entitled Life's Swell based a film; Blue Crush was released from a screenplay by Lizzy Weiss and John Stockwell in 2002.
