Susan Thorsgaard ( born October 13, 1988 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a Danish handball player who plays for Danish first division club FC Midtjylland Håndbold.

Thorsgaard began nine years playing handball at Brabrand IF. In 2006 she signed a contract with Silkeborg Voel KFUM. Two years later the county runner moved to first division Ikast - Brande EH, who later renamed to FC Midtjylland Håndbold. With the FCM she won in 2011 and 2013, the Danish Championship, the 2011 EHF Cup and the 2012 Danish Cup.

For the Danish national team's right-handed so far graduated 106 countries games in which they scored 187 hits. With the Danish selection they took part in the 2010 European Championships, the 2011 World Cup and at the 2013 World Cup. Thorsgaard won at the 2013 World Championships bronze medal and scored eight goals in nine games. In the summer of 2012, she continued to take part in the Olympic Games in London.
