Susanville is the only town in Lassen County in the U.S. state of California, United States, and has 17,600 inhabitants ( as of 2004).

Susanville lies at the geographic coordinates 40.41 ° N, 120.65 ° West, at the intersection of Sierra Nevada, Cascades and the large pool. The metropolitan area has a size of 15.3 km ².
