Susi Susanti
Lucia Francisca Susi Susanti ( born February 11, 1971 in Tasikmalaya ) is a former Indonesian badminton player. She is married to badminton player Alan Budikusuma.
Career
Susi Susanti was one of the most successful badminton players in the early 1990s. She won the All England Open for the years 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1994. Besides they won between 1990 and 1994 every year the World Grand Prix. 1993 Susanti won the individual tournament in the world championships. 1994 and 1996 led Susi Susanti the Indonesian team to win the Uber Cup.
At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona Susi Susanti won the singles tournament at the Olympic debut of badminton. Four years later, at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Susanti won third place in the individual women.
