Sustut River

BW

The Sustut River is a left tributary of the Skeena River in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The Sustut River has its origin in the west Sustut Lake in the Omineca Mountains of Williston Lake. The Sustut River initially flows briefly in a northwesterly direction, but then turns to the south. In the lower reaches, the river flows west and empties into the Skeena River. Larger tributaries are Astika River and Bear River. The Sustut River has a length of about 100 km.

The reserve Sustut Provincial Park and Protected Area is located on the eastern shore of the Sustut River upstream of the confluence of the Bear River.
