Sutherland is located from the city center on the southeast edge of Sydney on the Pacific coast and is about 20 to 35 km south of Botany Bay. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the district of Sutherland in the north of the LGA.
Management
The Sutherland Shire Council has 15 members, who are elected by the residents of the five wards ( three from each of the Wards A to E). These five districts are set independently of the districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
