Suzy Batkovic

Suzy Batkovic - Brown ( born December 17, 1980 in Lambton, Australia) is a professional basketball player. Since 2009 she plays for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Career

Batkovic -Brown was selected in the WNBA Draft in 2003 in the second round at the total 22 out of the Seattle Storm. However she dared until after the 2004 Olympics in Athens, where she won the silver medal with the Australian national basketball team, the leap into the WNBA. In the 2005 season she was in 29 of 34 games for the Storm in the field. She scored at an average playing time of 16 minutes per game 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. After her rookie season she put her WNBA career put on hold and decided to summer in Australia to pause and play over the winter for teams in Europe. After the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where she won silver again, she decided to return to play in the WNBA. In the 2009 season they will play as in 2005 for the Storm.
