Suzy Vernon

Suzy Vernon, actually Amélie Paris, ( born June 26, 1901 in Nice, † January 24, 1997 in Moulins ) was a French actress.

Life

Since the end of World War I they had played at various theaters.

Her film debut was in 1922. Directed by Jacques Feyder she played in Vienna in The Portrait ( 1923) and in the French-Swiss production faces of children (1925 ). From 1927 she also played in Ufa productions, including Manfred Noa's crook in tails and the secret power of Erich Waschneck. They often played cheerful lover or divas and was in France and Germany between the mid 1920s and early 1930s popular.

In 1930 she undertook a trip to Hollywood and appeared in two French versions of American originals. In 1940 she finally ended her career.

1958 Suzy Vernon married a Lebanese surgeon and went with him to the Middle East.
